Job description
CRO & Content Specialist | Amsterdam | 40 hours
Since 2012, Veloretti has been designing stylish, functional bicycles from the heart of Amsterdam. What began with a clear mission—to make timeless design accessible—has grown into a familiar sight on the streets of cities all across Europe.
Our collection now includes electric models, city bikes, and children's bikes for all ages. At Veloretti, we believe in simplicity, innovation, and the power of good design. For us, cycling is more than just transportation; it’s a lifestyle. Since 2022, we have been part of Pon.Bike, the leading family of bicycle brands worldwide. This gives us the space to further develop: our products, our community, and our voice in the world.
Main goal
As our CRO & Content Specialist, you are the architect behind our on-site performance and retention loops. Your mission is to eliminate friction in the buying journey through data-driven testing and to manage the technical execution of our content strategies. You bridge the gap between data and execution: The Brand Team creates the story; you ensure it converts.
What you will do
Working as a key player in the digital team, you focus on maximizing the value of every visitor. You analyze user behavior to fix leaks in our funnels and ensure our website and email channels operate like a well-oiled machine. You are the gatekeeper of the website's quality and the strategist behind our automated customer journeys.
Your main KPIs are Website Conversion Rate, Revenue Per Visitor (RPV), and Automated Email Click-Through & Conversion Rates.
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities
Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
Lead the on-site testing roadmap: from data analysis (GA4, heatmaps) to hypothesis creation and A/B testing.
Identify friction points in the checkout and browsing flow and propose UX/UI improvements to the development team.
Continuously monitor funnel performance and act on drops in conversion.
Email Automation Strategy (Technical Ownership)
You are responsible for the setup, logic, and segmentation of our email flows (e.g., Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Win-back).
Collaboration: You brief the Brand Team on needed assets (copy/visuals). Once delivered, you build the flow in our Email Marketing Platform, set the triggers, and ensure flawless delivery.
You A/B test subject lines, send times, and flow structures to optimize open and click rates.
Content Operations
Manage the content implementation on our website via the CMS. You ensure that the content delivered by Brand is published correctly, looks great on all devices, and is optimized for conversion.
Maintain the quality and accuracy of product information and landing pages.
Consumer Insights
Implement and analyze feedback loops (surveys, polls) to understand the "Why" behind the "What."
Translate customer feedback into concrete recommendations for the Brand and E-com teams.
What you bring to the table
Experience: 2-4+ years of experience in E-commerce, CRO, or Digital Operations.
The Analytical Mind: Strong proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4) and testing tools (e.g., VWO, Hotjar, Convert).
Email Tech Savvy: Experience with Email Marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Spotler, Salesforce MC). You understand segmentation, triggers, and deliverability.
CMS Skills: You are comfortable working in a CMS and have a basic understanding of HTML/CSS (to ensure content looks right).
Project Management: You can effectively brief the creative team and manage deadlines to get campaigns live on time.
Language: Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
What do we offer you?
At Veloretti, you contribute to a brand that is becoming increasingly visible on the streetscape—and increasingly recognizable in its voice. You will be part of a growing, international team where ideas are taken seriously and there is room to learn—from successes as well as from the process. Naturally, we offer a competitive salary, 8% vacation pay, and 25 vacation days on a full-time basis. But more importantly, you contribute to something that moves. Not only in what we create but also in how we collaborate. You think along, grow together, and contribute—even beyond the boundaries of your role.
What you can expect from us:
A competitive salary.
8% vacation allowance.
25 vacation days.
A pension plan.
A training budget.
A Veloretti (e-)bike.
A work laptop.
Healthy lunch at the office, for a small contribution.
